How much does it cost to join?
It is Free! When we opened 10 years ago we wanted to create a community that had no cost barrier and we have stayed true to that. Since we are a free co-op we do rely on everyone contributing to the weekly shared supply list. Typically, the supplies are items already found in our homes. We try to reuse and recycle what we already have available in our homes as much as possible and everyone brings what they can so we can share . You do not need to bring everything on the list, bring what is easily accessible to you each week and we all share.

How do I join ?
If possible the best way to join us is to join our Facebook group ( make sure to answer the questions so we can accept you) and then pick a Tuesday to come! If you are not on facebook we do have a Discord you can also join, just contact us and we can get you added. If not on Facebook you will also need to ask us for the password to access the weekly events on this website.
.Is it ok if I can’t make it weekly?
Yes, totally fine! We have members who only come once a month or are only able to commit to a specific season. Though, our goal is for members to participate as much as possible. The members who show up weekly do benefit the most from our community and nature space and we encourage you to come as much as possible

I'm confused by the time of co-op ! what time do you start and end?
10:30-11:00 is our optional playground free time, families who like to settle in at the playground before we start roll in between this time, adults drink coffee and chat, kids play, and we just roll in with no stress. Our activities start between 11:15-11:30 depending on the vibes of the day. I know this can be a bit confusing but many say after coming a few times it makes a lot of sense and they love it! the goal is to not create stress and make tuesdays a day that just feels right for you. It allows us to slowly roll in and to visit before heading back to our nature area and it allows a bit of customization for different needs . Some kids and parents need a buffer time to get to a place and settle in before feeling ready to embrace the day- other families like to roll in and jump right on in. For the most part the goal is to get there by 11:15 because we start the activity between 11:15-11:30 depending on the vibe of the day. If you are running late, that is okay. Check the event for where we will be doing the activity and come join us once you arrive. We have no end time and you are welcome to stay as long as you want. some families do the activity and leave but most stay a good chunk of the day, especially when the weather is lovely.
What ages come?
All ages are welcome! Our established group age ranges from 1 up to soon to be 16 right now. There are so many ways to experience fun in nature that all age groups can find their groove! The littlest friends run wild playing with rocks and sticks, the middles usally love the activities and always have something going on (playing in thier forts and the creek being favorites), and the preteens and teens all love to spend the day adventuring in nature, hanging out, and as they say "vibing".

My child or I am nervous /have social anxiety… should we come?
YES! Our group is a neurodivergent safe space for many, all neurotypes are welcome. We are a space full of people who understand . I have provided a few examples of what a day with us may look like , a walk through of our nature home with pictures and many photos all over the website because these are things that would help my own anxiety and my kids . I hope they also will help others who may feel anxiety of the unknown
Where can I find the weekly activity and supply list?
You can find the weekly activity under the events tab in the Facebook group. The supply list will be posted within that weekly activity.
