Things you need to know
about the 2025-2026 Co-Op Year
01
Our co-op is running September 16-May 19th this year. We will have a winter holiday break December 23rd-30th.
02
Our weekly Tuesday events will continue to be posted under the events section on Facebook, but we also are posting the events here under the 'Weekly co-op activities and events' page for those who wish to stay off Facebook. We also have a Discord server for discussion needs for those seeking other avenues besides Facebook. Please contact us for more info . To see the adress of our location you will have to join Facebook, Discord, or contact Us.
03
We are hoping to add a once a season Field Trip , as well as 2-3 evening Forest School opportunities a year so we can have the experience of seeing nature at night with our community. These will be on days other than Tuesdays and posted with our events.
04
We are wanting to invite members (adults and kids alike) to take part in our group in a deeper way to enhance the co-op feel and community more this year. This is completely optional but helps make the group run smoothly and helps us create more opportunities for learning, fun, and adventure. Please click here to learn more
We also have a very short list of things we need to make the running of this years Co-op go smoother, if you want to help in that way here is our tiny wishlist
05
Our leadership team will be wearing badges this year so it is easier to find us. If you are new, have a question, or need help find someone with a yellow snail and mushroom badge. Leaders who just need a chill day with no extra responsibilities will simply take their badges off for that day - but we will make sure we always have a few of us easy to id!
We also are introducing bells to call the kids in for activities to create an environment with less need to yell out to the kids, I think it will be way nicer to our voices and our overall vibe/sensory experience (hence the bells on the wishlist)
06
We will continue having patrols using our Discord server. If you want to take part or see those patrols and need help being added to Discord please us know at co-op or by Contacting us. Click here to learn more about patrols

For New Members: If you are new know our group is so much more laid back then it seems when your reading about everything all at once. The 'Things to Know For a Good First Day' page has all the info you need. And of course make sure to read the 'Rules' page, they are intuitive but always nice to know.
If you have anxiety or like to know all the information before you start a group I suggest also looking at the 'A Day With Us' page as well, it was made to walk you through a few days so you know what to expect more.
08
For current members: I have had some worried in the past when we have added anything new to our group structure that it would change the groups vibe. Please don't worry though and know that our community is dedicated to staying a safe place where you can show up without an over abundance of stress, interact in the way that feels right to your family, and is not overly draining. We are adding some options, reorganizing our info a bit, and doing some housekeeping but I promise once co-op starts and we get past the first day we will all fall into our laid back rhythem we all know and love.
